* The Federal budget has been handed down by the Treasurer Josh Frydenburg last night in Canberra’s Parliament House.

* Aged care has been the major winner in the budget, with $630 million over five years allocated to stop the decline in aged-care services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people living in rural, remote communities.

* Northern Territory Federal Labor Senator Malarndirri McCarthy said she was wary of the new work for the dole trial in remote communities put forward by the Morrison Government
