Jeremy Trembath joins Katherine Town Council to share his passion | Katherine Times

A farmer from Zimbabwe has joined Katherine Town Council as alderman following the departure of John Zelley last month. Jeremy Trembath and his wife, Amy , are practicing regenerative agriculture at their family farm just north of Katherine. “We run a small herd of beef cattle and are experimenting with small-scale cropping, vegetables, and chickens for egg production plus more,” Mr Trembath said. “We went back and forth to Zimbabwe a couple of times until 2003 when we moved back for good after our farm was taken in the land snatching of the opposition political party. “This mainly happened to white farmers, by the grasping for power government at the time.” Read more: Mr Trembath holds a private pilot’s license,…
